GAC
GAC - Cardiovascular Advocacy Group was founded in 2017 and is an innovative movement, administered by Colabore com o Futuro and composed of non-profit patient organizations.
The group was created to act on the unattended needs of patients, such as the challenge of achieving an accurate and early diagnosis and the difficulty of access to exams and treatments. We also aim to reduce the high incidence and mortality from these diseases in Brazil.
Therefore, we have joined NGOs that focus on supporting patients with cardiovascular diseases or patients with pathologies that have as a consequence these diseases (diabetes and some rare diseases, for example) to work together, increasing and strengthening the voice of patients.
At GAC, we meet frequently to discuss challenges and work on an advocacy action plan that was created together by all members.
